ok i still cant belive it that my new vf700cu2 cooled my xfx7900gs 50degrees cooler!and quiet!but will taking off the heatsinks included mess up anything?

The memory heatsinks would be of great help if you will overclock that card. Otherwise, those memory chips are fine at stock settings.

You should always leave the heatsinks on. Taking them off can cause things to overheat, and if your video card overheats, it can cause serious problems.

theres a reason why its included.

heat sinks are one of the most important parts of cooling system. so no. you don't touch them. especially when they're hot!

It will fry the chips they're on. Leave them on.
