The top pay scale well there are doctors who make 7 million dollars a year.
Working at just a hospital really dependent upon what you wish to specialize in, the max could be somewhere around 400,000 dollars a year.

Before I retired 12 years ago, I earned 30$ per hour as a truck mechanic. Its a great job, but you will have to go to school, and go again, and again. Its a constantly changing field.

I'm going to be a teacher, and I don't think a normal teacher can really make much more than $50,000 a year. Which really isn't all that bad when you remember that you get summers off :)
