I'm having a tough time rephrasing cliches. We are supposed to rephrase these to be a bit more creative and transform them into our own unique message, using figurative language, rhetorical devices, etc. Basically, saying the same thing but not using cliches. I just can't come up with creative ways to rephrase 'em. Any help is appreciated.

Also, I should have said they need to be more...I don't know how to say it... but not like changing "beautiful" to nice. They are supposed to have rhetorical devices in them and be deep. This is where I'm running into problems.
