I don't know what it is, I don't want to be a prostitute, but I find their lifestyle so interesting, maybe because it's so different to mine!

Anybody else find it really interesting?

No, I find it tragic.
Suicide of the soul. Literally selling your soul. Ironically, they do the ultimate act of love, but are farther from real love than anyone else. There is more love in professional boxing. Getting paid to be pummeled senseless, in front of thousands of cheering people, is better than selling your soul for money.
I hurt for them.

From what I've heard, prostitutes are very unhygienic. You've got to hit absolute rock bottom to become a prostitute. Even so, it's very dangerous and I can't think of ANY reason at all why someone would be forced to pursue that kind of life. I mean, you can't tell me that the average person can't wait tables or work at a department store. There are tons of respectable jobs out there that don't endanger your life, health, freedom and self-respect. All you've got to have is a good attitude and be responsible. That's what employers want. You don't have to have a higher education. I'm not ranting at YOU, hon. I get where you're coming from. It's just that the whole way of life boggles me. There are jobs out there. Sure, it's not glamorous to stock shelves, but it's a respectable living and if that's putting food on the table then what's the problem? We can't all be professional athletes or movie stars. Nothing wrong with hard work.

Lol knock yourself out I guess. But, just so you know I am from NJ and have been to Atlantic City. Not only is it dirty, but the prostitutes are out in broad daylight it is pretty embarrassing if you are a resident, which thankfully I am not and all of them look dirty and skanky. I saw like 2 episodes of Cathouse some were good looking. Isabella Soprano being one of them. But, remember this is the real world and not a fantasy world, like in the movie Pretty Woman. You can not turn a whore, pardon my french and turn her into a housewife. She is a whore and if you strike anything up with her or girls like her she will be seeing more whats in your pockets rather wants in your pants and I doubt she will love you for you.

I will assume you might mean "escort prostitution", not the street walkers. I don't know if you would say interesting, but they do make $$$$. An escort that has "talent" and "looks" can make any easy $3000 a night, and not even have sex.
And yes, escort girls like to party as it was mentioned above me.

I find it interesting that prostitution (recieving money for sex) is illegal, yet two people can be paid to have sex on film (ie: Pornography) but are not considered prostitutes, nor do they get arrested for it.

interesting ? no.degrading,immoral,unethical,disgusting and a modern form of slavery,yes!many diseases have come from immoral sex acts check it out for example many years ago before white men came to Hawaii there was not venereal diseases but after coming to the island and having sex with many,many of the islanders most of the islands inhabitants died because of venereal diseases.prostitutes did not bring aids around originally but they have spread the disease also.selling your body to any one for sex for money is degrading and should not be done! no kind of sex at all!good luck.
