If you are a permanent resident in the U.S., then get accepted to an accredited University/College. Fill out the Financial Aid form. IF you qualify, you could be eligible for Pell Grants. They use to range up to 2500 a year, a few years ago. I don't know what the cap is now.
Best of luck with your academic goals.

You don't need to be employed to receive a grant or loan from the government. They take into account what your income is, not whether or not you have a job. Less income = more money from the government.

Fill out a FAFSA to find out how much.

Contrary to what you see on late-night television, Government Grants are not available to the public for school, etc.
You're on your own.
