I saw a little girl who I believed could have been Maddie McCann in June. I sent pics to every website/email I could find at the time but noone responded to let me know it wasnt her or anything: http://www.exceptiona.com/maddy/maddy.htm
What if it is her? Why the fuss over the Morrocco pics but no response to mine??

She was with an older guy who looked too old to be her father, and she didnt seem to be allowed to mix with other children.. she looked lonely and sad.. it looked like Maddy to me.. but even if its not her I would like someone to acknowlege that they have at least looked at the pics and decided its not her

She looked a lot like her definitely.. maybe the pics dont show that - but I saw her up close before I got to my camera..

You guys are not looking at the whole page - there is a pic of her close up profile - she looks a lot like maddy

I did get pretty close up to her but at the time I didnt know much about the case - didnt know about the eye mark though I remember thinking something was strange about her eye.. this case didnt get as much coverage here in the US

There was definitely something strange about the girl anyhow even if she isnt maddy - she wasnt happy - she was very sad - something wasnt right

I should like to point out that Bob J has a 3% best answer rating whereas mine is 40% best answer - this is because I think very carefully before posting something like this and I am often right!

I saw this girl on two occasions at the park before I took this photo - I then took my camera along on the off chance she would be at the park again because I was so struck by the similarity to Maddy.. She stopped coming to the park a week after this was taken

It was in Marietta Georgia - probably a good location to hide a little English girl abducted from Portugal as the news over here is all very American-focussed and its only cos I am originally from the UK that I have followed this story at all

I have sent the photos to lots of places but I think, like some on here, they may have only looked at the first pic - noone ever responds - its very frustrating.. I would swear it was her

2007-09-27 12:28:57 · update #9

The photos are not up close because you can get into very serious trouble here in the US for taking photos of kids like this as Bob J indicates - I didnt want to get into trouble, I was just trying to help

I have just looked at your pics and this little girl not only looks younger than Maddie but does not look like her. However I could be wrong and its people like you who will one day find this little girl Well done and keep that camera rolling.

I am not slating you by any means but couldn't you have found some way to get close enough to look in her eye to see if the mark was there. You could have possibly solved this whole thing but as far as the pictures go I only see her from the backside and she could pass as my friends daughter that is 5. You could send the pictures to the address on the find Madeline website.

Edit..I agree it does look like her from a profile view and it also looks kind of like the girl from Morrocco. The best you can do is send it to the address on the find Madeline site just in case. The McCanns said in the beginning to send photos so I would think they would want this looked into. I know I would as a parent search every photo sent.

Oh was this taken in the US? Would you mind saying where it was? Just curious.

Ridiculous paranoia.

Looks nothing like her, just another young girl out for the day with her grandparents.

People who want to see Maddie will see Maddie on every corner.

I'm getting sick of this. How many people out with their kids are getting accosted by do-gooders accusing them of being child kidnappers for daring to have a fair long-haired daughter/granddaughter?

You do realise you as some stranger in a park, taking sly photos of strangers, let alone children, let alone possibly approaching them can also land you on a breach of the peace/harassment charge.

You are right... someone should have contacted you to acknowlege that they had at least looked at the pics. After wall what do we mean when we ask the public to look out for Maddie?!
The little girl in your photos does not look like Maddie.

Great Picture, shame it was not of her front side, can't really tell by the back side, but here's a website that has phone nos on it to report sightings. http://www.findmadeleine.com/
Just keep taken pictures you will never know who will take the lucky shot of her.
