My dad's band is playing at a 50s themed birthday party. Any ideas for how they should dress? (all the guys are in their 40s and 50s.) Links to websites with ideas would be much appreciated also!

2 different styles...
1. the cool cat:
slicked back hair with lots of hair styling grease...
white crew neck tee shirt
black leather jacket (no studs) or black vest (opened).
Tight black jeans..bottoms no longer then the ankle
white socks
black penny loafers (with penny in the inserts)
toothpick behind one ear
cigarette behind the other ear
option 2 the nerd:
long plaid shorts
black socks they come up to mid calf
black shoes
white shirt buttoned at collar
plastic pencils holder in shirt pocket (with pencils)
messy hair
phony thick glasses
