Time will tell, it's to late now. Whether you agreed with going in their to begin with the US no has the moral obligation to rebuild what it broke.

Since all motion is relative, you could argue the earth is the center of the universe since the opposite vantage point is equally accurate. You only need ot adopt a more complex model, which makes it impractical but not unsound. I could say I'm the center of the universe, and make a correct statment regarding that , it's just that I now overcomlicated something.

Sometimes I entertain this thought . We have to be there somewhere and Iraq is really the best location. The war on terrorism is going to take a long time if ever to erase. Terrorism has been happening to us for years. This president has done something about it. We are keeping the war on terrorism in their own back yard. Do you really want it to come to our shores. Remember all that has happened. Not just 911.

It is all a matter of how you look at it. At least the reasons for going to war may not have been what was reported, and looking back I wonder if it is worth the price.

We have been under attack by Islamic extremists for over 30 years. Look back to the Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut, to the Iranian hostage standoff, countless embassy bombings, WTC bombing, USS Cole, 9/11. When will it end? The idea of taking out Hussein, did not have anything to do with 9/11 i agree, but the ends do justify the means here in my eyes. Here is why.
Since we have sent our troops to Iraq, where have the terrorist attacks against the U.S. occured? - In Iraq, on their own side of the world. Terrorist groups from all over the Middle East are focusing their efforts against U.S. forces in Iraq. THAT IS THE PLAN. If they want to fight us fine, we'll have the fight, but instead of having them taking up arms (or airplanes) against innocent U.S. civilians, we are sending our professional military to do the job it was meant for - to destroy our enemies.

Anyone who thinks our outcomes in Iraq were worth a trillion dollars, higher oil prices, loss of US prestige around the world, the empowerment of Iran, and 4,000 dead Americans is a flaming moron. That's all there is to it.

Yes, it's true that the war is NOT a mistake.
It's really simple: terrorists are like fire ants, kill them where they are, or wait and kill them in your house.

Yes, that is true.
It's also true that the earth is flat, the universe orbits the earth, there is no such thing as global warming, Dubyah is a "compassionate" conservative, and DICK Cheney enjoys the humor of Chris Rock and Lewis Black.

Everybody has different opinions. I'm personally somewhere in the middle on this topic. But like I said, everyone can only state their opinions.
