Dear Friend, This is a very technical question. You can get support and information at a pregnancy resource center, which you can find by googling optionline. Please take great care of yourself and your baby if you are pregnant. Sincerely, Runner

You can use the First Response test up to 5 days before you miss your period ( i used it 4 days before and I got a positive) But it is always better to wait till you miss your period to test. The more sensitive the test the sooner you can use it but the percentage isn't as acturate. I always recommond first response since it worked so early for me but each person devolps HCG differently. So if you can, wait till after you miss your period and always use first morning urine cus the levels of HCG are higher.

I wouldn't take a test until next week. I took one two days after my period was due and it was positive, and it was the First Response. I know people who didn't show positive even on those until about 2 weeks after thier period was due. And first response says it can detect it 5 days before the missed period. If you have one of those boxes of 2 or 3, it wouldn't hurt to try now, but don't be disapointed if it is neg. Just try again after your period is missed.

best bet is to wait about 7-10days after you think you conceived. that is how long most tests you buy will say on the packet. they won't always work tho so if you are still unsure go get blood tests done with your doctor. bloods are also more accurate as the hormones in your urine can change and give you a false positive.

If you know when you ovulated, wait fourteen days after ovulation before testing. If you're not sure when you ovulated or when to expect your period, a good guideline is to wait 19 days after the last time you had unprotected sex and then test.

This generally gives your body enough time for ovulation, fertilization, implantation and for your body to produce enough hCG that pregnancy tests will measure it.

In general they say to test on the day your period is due so right when you're late but no way can we wait right ;). 10 days past ovulation is supposed to be the earliest. I got a faint line at 9 days past but was told to disregard. if you go to www.peeonastick.com they have percentages as far as how likely you are to get a result and on what day etc. its a fun site
