I wonder what part of the question you don't understand....?

f(x) says you have a function that uses x as a variable.

Constant function is where f(x)=. No matter what you plug into X, (which there is no place to plug in), it always return the same value, hence a CONSTANT function.

Linear function is where x is in the formula, but it is not raised to any power. The graph shows a streight line. Hense, a linear function.

Quadradic function is where x is in the formula but the largest power it is raised to, is TWO.

Now, which one do you have?

Now, your last choice is a werid one. Having it in the form of f(x) already says it IS a function. The definition of the function is, for a given variable (like x), you get one and only one result. If you plug in a value for x, although you don't have any place to put it, you always get one and only one answer. (which is -2). So you have a function.

But it is also a constant (always the same), so you really have a constant function.
