The reason why I asked is because the male that I have in tank with my female Platy wants to breed with her so he constantly chases her around but she runs from him,and to me I dont see any signs of her being pregnant,can somebody please help me out with this situation.

you will see a gravid spot, which will be in a case of a platy orange to dark red, but not black as it is with guppies as example

The male might might have already done the deed, only time will tell if she will ever get slightly swollen and her gravid spot will appear, it takes a while for the gravid spot to appear.

Don't let the male bug her to much, look for any stress signs from her if she stops eating or anything like that, just keep watching her, for the next 4 weeks.

hold her in the light and u can actually c the babies
