another alternative would be to create greater incentives and greater financial support to families who have their sons and daughters in the army...
another one would be to encourage famililes to make more children...thereby increasing the possibilty of individuals entering the army dure to increase population

No, not cloning. Even if we did clone humans, the clones would be actual human individuals with individual wills, personalities, and rights. Movies portray clones as something less than human - almost like robots. A real clone would be more like an identical twin, only born a lot later.

Ways to increase army size?
1. Institute a draft. I'm not recommending this as I've already lived through a draft and would not like to see it return.
2. Make military service more attractive through better pay and benefits.

That's all I have.

There are moral questions that arise when we talk about using clones for anything. Things like do they have a right to free will?
Is it right to require any life form to face death or take life? Etc...etc...etc...
