Yes It heightens my emotions either up or down and makes me very restless. It makes me want to burn off energy by taking fast walks.

To answer Hello's question. Yes the full moon is closer to the earth because the sun and earth are pulling it in the same direction. That is why volcanoes have a tendency to erupt during a full moon and why tides are higher.

The full moon does not effect all people. Saying the extra light or gravity does not effect people may be true. No one has proved why some people are affected. But people who deal with unstable people know from experience that unstable people are harder to pacify during a full moon.

I think those people that are not affected jump to the conclusion that just because they are not affected then nobody else is affected either. A poor generalization at best. Most people are not affected to a noticeable degree.

Since I am one of those affected by the full moon I decided to do a little charting over two years when I was affected. It turned out that the three days before the full moon I was affected the most. On the actual full moon day I wasn't affected much. The days just before the full moon I felt energized. The Two days after the full moon I felt burned out. On lesser occasions I was affected during the rest of the month which on occasion I could contribute to a storm front comming in. Now I am not a person who believes in unproven hypothesis but I can not deny its affect on me.

I don't know why the other people answered this question. Obviously they are not affected by the full moon.

Not unless you think it does. If you think the full moon affects your behavior, it's your own assumptions, not the actual moon, that affect you. If you were shut up in a cave for months with no way to tell the phase of the moon, science has demonstrated with relative certainty that people wouldn't be able to tell one phase from another.

I don't understand this question.. a full moon merely means that the light falling on the moon is not being blocked by the earth. Does that necessarily mean it is any closer to the earth?

I think when the moon is BIG, as in... much closer than normal... then I think there could be an effect, for sure.

After all, our bodies are 70% water.. and so is the earth... and the moon can sure move the seas!!

Yes. Since the full moon is a lousy time for stargazing, I'm more likely to schedule evening social events for full-moon weekends, and save the dark-moon weekends for observing.

There has never been a proven correlation between the phase of the moon and human behavior...though there are certainly many people who believe there is. But all the anecdotes in the world are not proof.

FYI, for the scientifically illiterate folks out there. The phase of the moon has nothing to do with how far it is from Earth. They are separate cycles which are not synchronized.

That is a really interesting question. Farmers almanac definitely shows that the moon effects a lot of things. But human behavior, I am not sure.

I searched Moons phases and Human Behavior, there are certainly a lot of sites that address this belief.
