any kind of cooked sushi is fine and also raw too but in moderation. It's safe if you make sure that the restaurant freezes their fish prior to making the rolls. Do not eat the sashimi(the raw plain piece of fish). You can eat the rolls that have raw fish in them but it is important to find out from the restaurant about freezing methods. I will not eat sushi from a restaurant if they do not previously freeze the fish. I would say once in a blue moon is ok to eat the uncooked. The freezing is called parasite destruction guarantee...that way it's safe to eat during pregnancy. Here is a list for you..safe for pregnant women
Do not eat Shark, Swordfish, King Mackerel, or Tilefish because they contain high levels of mercury.
Eat up to 12 ounces (2 average meals) a week of a variety of fish and shellfish that are lower in mercury.
Five of the most commonly eaten fish that are low in mercury are shrimp, canned light tuna, salmon, pollock, and catfish.
Another commonly eaten fish, albacore ("white") tuna has more mercury than canned light tuna. So, when choosing your two meals of fish and shellfish, you may eat up to 6 ounces (one average meal) of albacore tuna per week

i like sushi! yet no, pregnant women at the instant are not meant to consume sushi. frequently, if there have been a parasite or bacteria interior the uncooked fish, your physique could flush it out. in spite of the shown fact that, pregnant women's immune systems are decreased (through fact the physique has a 'foreign places' concentrated visitor-- the toddler) so she is at hgher danger of an infection or harm from a bacteria or parasite of a few type. for this reason, something uncooked or perhaps particular forms of cheeses are off limits. I do omit my sushi! yet I consume the vegetable type.

cooked or veggie sushi you can have. It is however, not advisable for woman who are pregnant to consume raw or undercooked food. If it's cooked, or contains only vegetables, it doesn't present a problem.

-uncooked/undercooked seafood
-seafood containing a high level of mercury
