Like UFO sightings, ghosts, BIG FOOT, tornadoes... all that stuff...

People report ghosts in other countries, such as the UK, and tornadoes are caused by the weather, which has more to do with physics that the paranormal since they can be scientifically explained...
As for UFO sightings and Big Foot, either they do exist or people are doing too many drugs in the desert and forests...
However, lots of other cultures have things, leprechauns, faeries, Nessie, abominable snowmen or yetis... So weird sightings aren't limited to America by any means and have been going on for centuries before America was colonized.

They didn't curse the land, unless the land was burial grounds, in which case you're only cursed if you dishonor it. But as for all the things you spoke of, other countries have them as well. Yeti, Sasquatch, Big Foot they are all the same, and from different cultures. Ghosts, some of the most haunted places in the world are in England. Tornadoes are a natural phenomenon and no more special that a mudslide.

UFO sightings have happened in many countries.

Tornadoes happen elsewhere also as do hurricanes. Different countries sometimes just call them something else.

One of the biggest paranormal investigation shows on TV is based out of England
Scotland has the Lochness monster and the Himalayas have the Yeti
Tornadoes -- are weather phenomenon that happen world wide but do occur with greatest number in the plains region of the US. Meteorologist are studying weather patterns to determine the cause of this. A theory is yet to be offered.

Tornado's in the UK last week, the Loch Ness monster, Crop Circles, Most Haunted, Jack the Ripper along with a host of fairy tales and and monster stories - Oh and Morris dancers! These are just a few of the wierd **** that happens in the UK.......

Right wing socities have weird stuff. Proper societies have human beings. England is pretty weird, but I expect Ireland is weirder.
Weird is the fates, the Norn Sisters make the weirdos. I expect the American natives could have done this???

No, it is becuase the news you get is more naturally more tilted to where you are.
On the radio show Loveline,they use d to play a game where they would read a weird news story and have to guess if it was from Germany or Florida :)

I'm afraid your experience is limited.
The United States has the strongest and most free free press in all the world. Everything that's fit to print, plus a whole lot more.
That's all. Other countries have their weird stuff. Most of them are very judgmental about it or even restrict it's publishing.

Well, I frequently curse, but I've never seen bigfoot or a UFO. Threre were, however, some tornadoes in Nuneaton recently.

The Brits are big on UFOs, etc. Other cultures have their share of goblins and demons (Yeti in the Himalayas and Chupacabra in Caribbean, etc.). You are merely ill-informed to think only America has its' share of "weird stuff."
