use sin 5x -sin 7x =2 cos 6x sin(-x) = - 2 cos 6x sin x

Realize that sin 0 = 0 satisfies the equation
So x = n*pi where n= ...-2,-1,0,1,2,....

sin 0 conviently goes to 0.

x = 0

It would be troublesome to use the trig formulas lol.

Ironduke, it must be 2pi because pi gives you the negative form.
