7 hr, I-10 to I-5, and then I 580 across bay bridge.

Why not take megabus from union station, only $1 to $10 from LA to SF if you book one week ahead.

from the center of san bernardino to the center of san fran, it is 439.4 miles. if you are driving the speed limit it takes about 7.3 hours but most people get there in about 6 hours. it seems so much longer than that though... much easier to fly, its about 1 hour and 15 min flight and about the same cost as gas.

If you decide to drive...be careful. Empty straight road is just a huge speed trap. So do not go over 100 MPH!!!!! I've heard a lot of people have lost their driver licenses on HWY 5
