No i dont think so.Its common to get constipated during pregnancy. Eventually it will come out. In the meantime drink lots of water and try to keep a somewhat healthy diet it may help. Also this may sound strange but a cup or 2 of coffee makes a great laxative.

No it would only hurt yourself. Im at that point where i think my organs are being moved and there is less space and lord does it hurt when i have a bowel movement.

if you have a true bowel obstruction it can lead to infection and even death, so yes, if you never BM while pregnant its bad.

If you hold it in for a few hrs, no, its of no harm.
