Rather than dumping your old HDD, you can add it to your PC as an extra Drive. This way, you will have a back up Drive and / or a seperate drive for storing sensitive files, your images, movies etc. etc. on. You will also be helping the environment by reusing it rather than sending it to a landfill. If you install it in your current PC, you will be able to access all files that are currently stored on it and be able to transfer them to your current C: Drive. With some good software, such as "Fix-It", you will also be able to recover any files that have been deleted from the HDD.

If I don't want to use the old HDD on my PC and just want to dump it, or better yet look at everything thats on it and dump individual items. Is this even possible??
