All DICTATORS automatically remove all guns / firearms from the citizens, as the first measure to 1. prevent the citizens from " overthrowing the corrupt government / repressive ruling group", 2. and to destroy the citizens feeling's of security !!!
Study history, folks : study about the ease of which HITLER marched into and conquered FRANCE, POLAND, LUXEMBOURG, YUGOSLAVIA(SP), and the southern parts of the NETHERLANDS !!!!
ONLY the LIBERALS / LEFTY'S want to control ALL OF THE USA !!!!

I had not heard about this.
While I agree that there should be certain limitations on gun ownership, such as barring convicted felons, those with diagnosed serious psychiatric problems, etc., how in the hell can you ban a person diagnosed as a child with "ADHD"? Those diagnoses are being passed about like candy!
So glad I already have my guns, and ammo, and so far the government can't come into my house and take them away from me!

They will never stop their attack on the 2nd Admendment.

Those RUNNING the Democratic Party are Marxist tyrants.
They HATE the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights.
They want to take away the rights and powers the Founding Fathers gave to us.
They are TYRANTS, pure and simple.
I think anyone promoting changing our Constitutional rights should NEVER be allowed to take the Oath of Office.
That oath makes them swear to UPHOLD the Constitution and they have already told you up front they want to take away the RIGHTS GUARANTEED by that Constitution!!!

After watching Olympic snowborder Andy Finch's dad have a shoot out with Fresno PD the other day (family is claiming that he is suffering from PTSD as a Vietnam veteran) and that kid from Virginia Tech shoot up the school, maybe there needs to be a few controls on who can have a gun.
Honestly, I'm surprised that Dick Cheney (drunk while hunting and shooting the person standing behind you) is being exempted from the law.
I guarantee that the Fresno Police Dept. would support it at this point.
BTW: I believe that there shouldn't be any limits to the type of guns you can own. If the government can have it, then a citizen should be able to.
But I do believe that there should be limits to whom can own a gun. America doesn't need more gun wielding nutcases roaming the country than there already is.

Your ultra right wing source dramatizes the problem. Yes, the law they are proposing seems ridiculous but they are two of many in Congress. If a majority in congress including the Republicans who have been very adept at obstructing the will of the people as well as Democrats let this pass than there must be something to it. I personally think it won't get out of committee.
