well are they on a front wheel drive or rear wheel drive..most times you have to remove the wheel..of course..and then remove the caliper and most time the rotor will just come off with a little bit of pulling..on some models they are held in by a bolt..good luck ..check out a repair manual at your local autozone...or large auto parts chain..

On a lot of American cars, the rotors are held on by the brake calipers. On Japanese front wheel drive cars, you have to take the calipers off and there are 2 Phillips head screws holding it to the wheel hub. To remove them, you might have to use an impact driver to remove it because they were put during assembly at the plant and are really tight.

Like the members above said, most of the time just remove the caliper, however in some cases it is necessary to remove the caliper bracket. Also in some other cases, like a Porsche I once had, the rotor had 6 hex heads holding it to the spindle.

In most cases, you first remove the calipers and then the rotors will separate from the hubs.

Depends on the car. Make, Model, and year.
Most slide off the hub, but some are secured with a clip, others with screws.
