I bought a "Baby Keyboard" a couple of years ago, but I don't think a six-month-old would be quite coordinated enough to make use of it. It has just a few keys with colors and shapes, and it straps to your regular keyboard. It comes with several CD's with different activities for different stages. Quite good for toddlers, but that's about the limit. I'll get back to you on the name of the software if I think of it.

Yes, it's called "mommy" and "daddy." Best interactive game around, and beneficial for the parents, too!

(-: Really, what are you thinking? You're going to ruin the kid's eyes with software at that age. Play with the baby, for goodness sakes, or hire a kid to do so.

No...looking at a computer or tv screen is not good for babies...it's proven to delay learning.
