Do you think it is fare to put Elton john and the beetles in the same category? I actually like Elton John better. I mean the both of them have countless albums and even more hits. But I like Elton's Music better.
What I am asking is do you think it is fare to put them in the same category and who do you think is better

I think they are both freakin' amazing, and do believe that they both belong in the same category. Both helped to shape a generation of awesome music, and I don't think anyone can say without a doubt that one is truly better than the other. Plus, they all participated in some pretty crazy, psychedelic movies in their time.

I wouldn't put them in the same category because their music is not quite the same category.Both the Beatles and Elton John are/were great musicians,but still not the same category.

I don't think it's fair. Comparing anything to the Beatles isn't fair, cause the Beatles will always win. I like the Beatles much better, but Elton's good too. A huge reason why the Beatles are better is cause they were revolutionary and Elton, not so much, but great musician though.

I think it's fair to put them in the same catigory.I pick the Beatles all the way. I'm just not into Elton's music.

I'm a HUGE Elton John fan...HUGE I like Eltons music better
but I respect The Beatles and think they are brilliant as well.

There is no comparison! The Beatles led the entire music industry, and were innovative in creating new sounds and styles into they're music. The range they explored was incredible.
I suppose you could put them in the same category, but Elton himself would admit to bowing before the Beatles.

It is FAIR to put Elton John and the BEATLES together in the same category.. they are both "rock -n- roll", and they are both classics.. I enjoy both artist's music the same, depending on what kind of mood I'm in..

I think they are way too different to be put in the same category. However if i was to choose i would choose Elton John, that's just my personal opinion.

Not only is it fair to place them both in the same category, it would be musically accurate to do so.
Besides...the two Johns (Lennon and Elton) were good friends.
