It was a movie that came out maybe 2005-2007. It was about these guys that were conning people into believing that they were being haunted by evil, like a witch. I don't remember the others, mainly mythological in nature. I think the story line was that they had come to meet a real creature or something...maybe someone was conning them, I don't remember. If anyone can provide any help please it would be appritiated.

It was "The Brothers Grimm" starring Matt Damon and Heath Ledger (2005).

Directed by Terry Gilliam (ex-Monty Python member) famous for his fantasy/comedy movies (Brazil, Adventures of Baron von Munchausen, etc.). Very good movies worth seeing - they are visually stunning and excellent entertainment - very original.

I believe you may be thinking of the Brothers Grimm. The brothers did fake exorcisms and such conning the local villagers. All was well until the fairy tales started becoming real.

Peace=)

Has to be Brothers Grimm.

In the movie they pretended to be monster hunters, but were scammers. Ultimately they end up having to fight for real.
