totally....and usually everyone does so why the hell dont we have it as law in this country...oh thats right cause we have a crap legal system thats why!!

I tend to stick with Ghandi on this one (if he is indeed the one who said it; I've heard the quote attributed to a number of different sources). It's very easy to seek revenge when you feel that you've been wronged, but in doing so, you are only increasing the suffering in the world, and often you end up hurting no one but yourself. Also, I don't really believe in punishing people for the things that they have done wrong. I prefer the idea of reconditioning them to change their behavior. I don't think there are "good people" and "bad people". Some people just have harmful patterns of behavior that should be broken. Which is my problem with the American justice system. But I won't get into that...
