This was on the King of Queens today. . .If a man goes out with a woman, and just has dinner and talks with her, but yet, doesn't have ANY sexual relations of any kind, but yet, he doesn't tell his wife, is it still considered cheating? I thought it was an interesting concept. If they were just hanging out as friends I don't think I'd get mad, but if he was considering getting with her, than yea, I'd be mad. What do you guys think?

If my man went out to dinner with another woman and didn't tell me, I'd consider it to be emotional cheating.
If they were "just friends," he wouldn't have a reason to keep it a secret.

I think that the man's wife, in every circumstance, has to make the decision as to whether or not it's cheating. I have mixed feelings as to whether or not I'd consider it cheating. I would not be happy, but I think it would take more than that for me to decide to get a divorce.

Well, if it was so innocent why was the wife not told about it? Cheating is cheating whether there is sex or not. Emotional affairs are every bit as hurtful and damaging to a marriage as physical affairs.

Technically, it's not cheating, but if it were my spouse, I'd want to really understand what the emotional connection was with this woman. Lots of questions would have to be answered in my opinion. Is it someone from work? Who is she, where did they meet, how long as he known her, blah, blah, blah.

Depends where they draw the line at being just friends. And why are they going out do dinner ? Did they just meet...Have they known each other for a while ? Need details.

I believe that if a man kinda likes a woman then he kinda wants to have sex with her and vice versa. If they like each other alot, then they want to have sex with each other alot. They may suppress those feelings due to marriage, religion or whatever but I don't think it is hardly possible to have a best friend who was a female-especially if she was attractive at all. And if she wasn't attractive at all, then we wouldn't even want to be friends with her. Sad but true. We are pigs.
