I would say Vocational Rehab or goodwill. They can assess her abilities, train her and work with her limitations. They can also work out her hours so she does'nt lose her disability check.

If she has a severe speech problem there are always jobs for people who know sign language. Probably a federal job and since she is disabled she would pretty much be guaranteed a good paying job. And I am sure shes earned it.

Maybe your local vocational rehab center can help. And no one can truly be content on disability. It's like a last resort deal. But with severe speech problems I can see where she may be qualified.

There are plenty of opportunities--but they go to those persons with disabilities who are willing to overcome the stereotypes and resistance of employers. About half do this. Teh rest, for the most part, simply exist. And the consequences are not pleasant-high rates of depression, alcoholism, etc.
Trying to go it alone is a mistake. I suggest--VERY STRONGLY--that your friend get in touch with her state Department fof Vocational Rehabilitation. They will have a range of services--job counselling, training, and placement, for starters. For many , they will pay for technical training and/or college. They can also provide--or link your friend up with--a variety of other services.
Butthe first step--and the determination to succeed--ahs to be hers. Best of luck! :)

Assuming you're in the US, in any different case i can not help you. you in basic terms ought to state this concern in case you desire some lodging at paintings (like decreased hours, longer breaks, etc). Even then, you in basic terms ought to state the lodging, you in no way ought to share the prognosis. If it is a few thing that ought to not influence your paintings then it is alright to not placed it on your application. From a real looking viewpoint, even though it is unlawful to attain this, an corporation would be hesitant to employ a individual in accordance with a background of psychological ailment of any form. of course the percentages of proving it are slender and none so it is maximum suitable to not point out it if in any respect plausible.

If your friend wants to work, help her. She may not want to go into customers service jobs where she would have lots of people to talk to, but I'm sure she can find a job she will like.

she could volunteer or contact vocational rehab through her local social services. they would help train and place her in a suitable position. if she works she will only be able to earn a very small amount per month before it would affect her disability payments.

Something more involved with writing maybe. Any job she takes will involve talking to people, but she should avoid jobs that use a phone extensively.
