It really DOES mean that you never know what you're going to get - unless you read the top of the box ;-) Life is never guaranteed, and highly variable; it's all but impossible to know beforehand what will happen to you as you proceed through life.

life is unpredictable. one day you might take a bite out of it to find sweet nouget and all that and the next you get some horrible flavor that makes you wanna swear it off altogether. but the best thing is to keep taking bites because with chocolate its rare you have a bad taste in your mouth

to me it means: not all chocolates in the box taste as good as the others. I just relate that to people.

thatz the oldest saying in the book!! i think life is like a movie, becuz there's drama, comedy, horror moments, and every genre there is. my friends disagree becuz they think every single movie has a happy ending. hello!! titanic!!!!
