Are there any people on here that can give an answer without slamming someone or some party? Or how about any one that can give a thumbs up to someone who they disagree with? Why all the hate?

Thumbs down don't bother me, but I also am mature enough to give some one credit for a great answer. That's my point. People are so busy degrading others that they forget about the fact that other people are also correct. It's just frustrating to see the immaturity.

I care about others and I am very tired of all the hate also. A day where only nice ideas and friendly criticism would be a blessing.Logic is not what is needed or missing but just plain manners.Freedom of speech does not give one the right to be rude and obnoxious. Peace

Of all of the questions I've seen on Yahoo, this is the best one. It's sad that people can't just leave each other alone. Unfortunately, as long as there are two or more people on the planet, it's unlikely the ridiculous behavior will ever go away. Religion, greed, ideologies etc. fuel the hatred. Someones idea that it's their "duty" or "right" to impose their values on others. How do we reverse this concept? There are as many ideas as there are people. The answer could be very simplistic. Live and let live. Who are we to judge each other?

In my opinion, we all have way too much time on our hands. People are so quick to judge and so slow to listen. As if listening to an opposing viewpoint would somehow hurt or be a threat. Oh my gosh, what if I hear something I agree with from someone who is not in my same party . . . Sad really!

Why would I give a thumbs up to someone I disagree with? I love getting thumbs downs...I actually like it best when I get more thumbs downs than there are answers, because that means I REALLY bugged some liberals.

people are usually negative. and negativity is what attracts the attention. Nobody wants to hear the positive. I mean look at today's media, it's always this disaster this, that celebrity that. who's on drugs who is acting stupid and out of ordinary. It's all part of making things seem interesting. I don't think that it is really hate. I think that it is more of talking for the sake of talking. I am glad that you think that, however, thumbs up and high fives, even compliments do exist most of the time. ;]

I give thumbs up to Republicans all the time. Sometimes they can say reasonable things. Maybe the "thumbs up" system should be similar to the "star this question" system, where you can see what people gave thumbs up to.

Politics and religion have always been charged with emotion. They are both conversation killers. Logic is hard to reach when you have to dig down through the emotional garbage.

Just take your time....Sit back and really look at the ones who gossip, degrade,or talk about others in a negitive way. You mostly find.......People who have great issues in life themselves. Its allways easier.......To hide your own problems. When you talk about anothers....

I would like to tell the truth. If I disagree I will tell the reasons honestly. That should be the way it is.

Although I distrust and dislike neo-con ideology, I at least award BA to neo-cons even if they totally disagree with me.
