It's called: "Ponette". It has to be region 1, USA, and with subtitles. I will buy online OR FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTOR!!! GOT ONE YA DON'T WATCH??? :D It was released in the USA. I had one, but it was stolen. I wanna watch it again, and can't find it for sale anywhere online.

It's in French, and MUST have English subtitles.

You can buy it from Amazon.com dealers. They have both VHS and DVD formats available.

Hm... I remember seeing the trailer for PONETTE years ago when I was waiting to watch a miserable vampire movie called NADJA. I just checked Amazon and saw the PONETTE DVD is out of print and selling through private sellers for waaaaay too much money.

I wish you luck finding a replacement copy, Cindy.

Edit: If Blockbuster does have it in stock for rental, you might consider renting it and keeping it. Just find out ahead of time how much they'll charge you if you don't return it. Blockbuster has a chainwide policy now that you always have the option to keep the DVD and pay them for it. Sometimes it's not a bad deal, especially in an instance like this where the DVD is out of print and prohibitively costly to replace by buying it new from an independent retailer or auction.
