Does anyone know when the movie Eragon 2 is coming out yet?

IF they ever make a sequel it would be called Eldest after the second book in the Inheritance Trilogy. Paolini hasn't finished the third book yet.

So far no plans for another movie. The first one kind of bombed at the box office and they don't usually put more money into something that won't make money.

It's probably not. The original tanked, so it's questionable as to whether they will make a sequel.

i'm afraid not unless it gets a new producer and makes a good script
