the first person who answers is winning/ wins, even if their answer is dumb or disagreeable?

I noticed that today because I had been voting for answers and i choose different ones based on what i think and no matter what, the first answer is winning.

People don't want to waste their time reading answers when they can just pick, get a point and move to the next one. It really is a bad voting system for the ones who really gave good answers.

I don't know if that's ALWAYS the case... but I'm sure a lot of folk just pick the first answer (or pick their own answers) all the time to get that point -- regardless of whether or not it's the BEST answer.
(And many people who post don't bother to keep an eye on their questions - so they allow the voters to select a "best" for them... )

People don't scroll down the page to read all the answers. If you're the first to answer, you're almost sure to get the 10 points!

I don't know, I take the time to read all of them. I don't believe in just picking one to get the point. I wish everybody was like you.
