The only thing you can really do is evaluate how close to the skin it is cutting the hair. If it still feels like you have a tiny bit of stubble after shaving, it is time to change. I change blades about every 3-4 weeks or so.

I heard somewhere that you should replace your razors after 2 uses they get a lot of bacteria in them and if you do cut yourself you could get a bad infection. You should also replace your toothbrush every month and your pillows every 3 months or so. It is amazing how long we keep these things and don't think about the germs and bacteria and dust mites in them. Kind of makes you think about things I vacuum my bed and my couch once a week really well for dead skin and dust mites.

You will deffinetly be able to tell a difference. You know how your legs feel after you get a new razor? REALLY smooth and soft? Okay, couple weeks later *maybe months depending*...you'll have like stubble it feels like. Just feels like youre not getting the same results ---welp, then you know its time to change! :)

If you start to get nicks on your legs when shaving, it's time to change the razor.

You should replace it after 1-2 uses ideally - it will be sharper, and cleaner if you do cut yourself.
