Super Mario Bros. 3 was my favorite. The Legend of Zelda games are very good, along with the first Super Mario Bros., and Duck Hunt is definetley up there.

My favorite NES game was WILLOW. Yes the game of the movie. It was like a glorified Zelda but one of the best storylines ever.

i dont think there is one single best game. there were too many that just totally rocked.

double dribble
top gun
teenage mutant ninja turtles (arcade port)
just to name a few. the nes is actually my second favorite console next to the atari 2600.
