i want to wire someone money but i don't know how....

do i have to go to the branch or can i do it online?
do i need to bring money or will they deduct from my account?
is there a fee?

to wire OUTSIDE of the bank you can visit any branch..
they make you fill out a long form..and the funds will need to be in your account...not in your hand.

20 fee for domestic.
45 for international....i used to work there.

If by 'wire' you mean EFT ( electronic funds transfer)
Yes ,
You need their account and make sure it is accurate ,
NO point in sending it to the wrong persons account .

I do it online and it is treated like a check .
( My checking is no fee )
If they do Not have an account , you can enter it like a check to be mailed to an address but ,
An EFT is way safer .

FYI - this advice is if it is for a family member ,
Because I am sure your read the eBay warnings that it is thieves that use western union etc , on eBay .
eBay says you will most likely be robbed and there will be nothing that anyone can do to get your $$$$ back (even if they clean out your accounts once they get the numbers ) .

you have to go to the branch and it costs around $35
