Mika is pronounced (Mee-kah)

And Jaykub is spelled that way because I like different spellings.

Irish Mommy - I quite respect and thank you for your opinion and the only reason I spelled Jayne like that is because it is a tribute to my mother who passed in 2002.

Daphne Jane would easily get my vote (beautiful!), but I find the simpler "Jane" spelling much more appealing and the added "e" in the first name is really unnecessary (most people realize how to say Daphne ... no need to make the name less attractive to try and ensure it, know what I mean?).

Noah Malcolm would probably be my pick from the boy choices, though I really prefer Malcolm as a first name to any of these. Noah is fine, but so overused at the moment, and Jacob is even more so (no matter how poorly spelled ... it's obvious this is just another Jacob, THE most popular name choice for boys LOL). Combining it with Aidan -- forerunner to the whole Braden, Caden, Hayden, Jadon, etc. trend -- doesn't help the name overall, though I do applaud you for knowing the correct spelling. Very few do, it seems. ;)

Nikolai is a great name for, say, a Russian family -- in other words, if it actually reflects your heritage -- but might seem an odd, obviously-random ethnic choice otherwise. Jefferson is ok, but I'd only personally use it if it had personal meaning (a family surname, for example, or in honor or a father or grandfather whose name is really Jeffrey).

The rest are simply not my style. Hope that helps!

I love Daphne, but with only one E. Daphne is unusual enough without a funky spelling. My top girl's name is Daphne Margaret! I like Jayne with a "Y" as a middle name. It's my only weakness with odd spellings. It makes me think of Jayne Mansfield.

Mika is cute, but no one would pronounce it right. I would think about Meka, Mekah, Meeka, or Meekah. I would also think about using Mika as a nickname for something, like Makana, Makani, Makara, Mekelle, Makayla, or Makale. Really don't like Roe unless it's a family name. The first thing I think of is Mike Roe from Dirty Jobs, or maybe Micro.

I don't like the name Chandler at all, but I think it's a boy name.

I love Nikolai Jefferson! So cool.

Same with Noah Malcolm. All four names here are strong, with positive associations and namesakes.

I saw your note that you like creative spellings, but Jaykub is Jacob. You could do Jakob, the European version, but as someone named Kayt instead of Kate, your name is pronounced the same as the five other Kates or Jacobs in English class. You just spend your entire life spelling your name out loud for people, and getting condescending, "that's so CUTE!!!1!" It's not fun. The 'kub' at the end looks really awkward, too. Jakob Aiden is nice, but Jaykub looks really uneducated.

I like Daphnee Jayne and Noah. How about swapping Malcolm for Jaycob? (I agree with the others, Jaykub doesn't look right for the spelling)

They are all such beautiful names. Originality is one of the perks of choosing your childs' name! Lidia Marit is fantastic! Good luck with baby number 2!

Daphnee Jayne- Lovely name. I'd drop one of the e's. Spell it Daphne.

Mika Roe-Don't really care for this one.

Chandler Kadia-no. Chandler is toooo "friends" Kadia sounds made up.

Boys
Nikolai Jefferson-Love Nikolai. I'd go with a different middle name. Something russian or more eastern euro sounding.

Noah Malcolm-Love love love Noah. Knew a pompous man named Malcolm. I can just hear his accent saying "I have to to the bath" BLAH.

Jaykub Aiden-no. Dislike the spelling of Jacob. HATE th e name Aiden.
