A spanner or socket on the head of the bolt and the same for the nut. Turn either end in a clock wise direction.

OK.. given that this might be a troll I will still give you a good answer.

1) You will need two wrenches of some kind that are either adjustable or are the same size as the nut and bolts. The wrenches should also have clearance to work around the heads of the nut/bolt

2) Not wanting to complicate things but there may be a washer or two involved here also (flat, coin sized disk with a hole the size of the bolt). If there are then step 3 covers them.. if not then ignore the washer parts.

3) Put a washer on the bolt and slip the bolt thru the holes that you wish to secure. The bolt should extend at least 1/8" or more past the hole.. if it does not then you either do not have to bolt in all the way or you need a longer bolt.

4) Put a washer over the protruding bolt

5) Place the nut on the bolt and and hold the bolt head with your hand while you start the nut on the bolt by turning it clockwise (as you face the protruding bolt.).

6) Once the nut has started, place a wrench on the bolt head and a wrench on the nut and continue to tighten. You can turn either one as long as you turn it clockwise as you face it

thats it..

You owe me one... next time I need a needle and thread job I am coming to you.

:/ what are you trying to put together?
I hope you are talking about what I think you are talking about, lol.
First you take the bolt, and put it into the hole, then you put the nut on the bolt from the other side and tighten it. You can either hold the nut and use a screw driver to tighten the bolt, or use a wrench. If you are trying to loosen a bolt remember this"left is loose and right is tight". It's not that hard;). Good luck

Wow! You need a "nut and bolt up"? Well, that certainly narrows down the possible answers to . . . oh, say, INFINITY!!!!

Sorry, dear, but you'll have to be more explicit! What is it that you're trying do? Where? And, most importantly, woman or not, WHY are you doing whatever this is to your car when you are clearly unable to do it?!?!

Get a professional or any backyard mechanic to help you, for goodness sake, before you hurt yourself!
