The battery is located under the bike and very difficult to access.It is a 1998 suzuki vs intruder.HELP!

Loosen the 2 bottom/forward bolts & remove the 2 top bolts.
The battery box will swing down, making access easier.

Unfortunately this bike gets my award for the worst battery access in the world. A very bad design if you ask me.

The only way I know is to raise the back of the bike a few inches so the cover then cables are visible for removal. Its hard and fiddly, but if the bike is supported right, it is easy enough.

Get a friend to help. Maybe pulling the bike onto the side stand will give enough clearance for safe removal.

You need to jack up the bike to remove the battery. I own a Intruder VS800. It has the same problem.
