Yes I always raced in bare feet and I do a lot better because of it. The 100m sprint, 800m even the 1500m I have done in bare feet. It is funny because a lot of people that it was my secret weapon and so they ran barefoot too but I still beat most of them.

I'm sure I did in high school. We always did PE indoors barefoot and outdoors shoes were optional; if the weather was nice, I always went barefoot there too. I wasn't that fast on sprints -I'm very small too, I have to take two steps to the tall folks one. But I was in pretty good shape back then and I usually was among the first of the girls at endurance tests. Unfortunately I've since let that slide :-(

When I was in high school, I was the fastest girl in the entire school and ran all my races barefoot! That was back in the 70's!

Yes, on the beach through sand - tough. However, I ran track and cross country in high school and the training then was on tough terrain so I am happy to say that I can still kick a** at it after all of these years.

i'm helpful I did in intense college. We continuously did PE indoors barefoot and out of doorways footwear have been optionally available; if the climate replaced into intense-high quality, I continuously went barefoot there too. I wasn't that rapid on sprints -i'm very small too, I could take 2 steps to the tall human beings one. yet i replaced into in exceedingly superb condition back then and that i frequently replaced into between the 1st of the ladies at staying power tests. regrettably i've got on account that enable that slide :-(

my son thought i couldn't catch him and i was barefooted and hadn't been to long getting out of the hospital for open heart surgery.but i caught him and i even surprised myself,i wasn't even out of breathe.
