so the equation is y = -1 (meaning no matter what x is y will always equal -1

when you have a point the first number is your x-value and the second number is your y-value. For example, (x,y) . First you want to find the slope of the line and you do that by using this equation: m=y2-y1/x2-x1. Your slope comes out to be 0. Then you plug the slope into the point-slope formula which is y-y1=m(x-x1) and you can use and point in the problem to stick into the equation, they will both have the same answer. Once you use the formula your answer is.....y=-1
