My wife and I had a formal wedding with some of the trimmings. We were more interested in having a good marriage, than a fancy wedding, since a wedding last one day, a marriage a lifetime. Although we had probably the best music I have ever heard at a wedding. We had a Trumpet, Cello, Flute, as well as an Organ. We also sang "Evergreen" to each other as we lit our unity candle. My wife was one year out of college when we go married and was a music major. I am six years older than my wife. We will be celebrating our 28th anniversary next month. My wife has made me happier than I ever thought possible. I had dated several women before I met my wife, but she was the first and only woman that I was ever interested in marrying.

I was engaged when I was 24 and married when I was 26 Our wedding colors were a pale peach and chocolate brown We each had our brothers as witnesses (2 total), it was a very small wedding (14 people were there including us and our reverend) Our reception was held a month after our wedding, and we did not have assigned seating, most people didn't sit, it was a cocktail party We had a small chocolate cake and then a variety of desserts for people to choose, I think there were 5 different choices We went to Maui for two weeks We got married in Gleneden Beach, OR, a tiny town on the coast, just outside of Lincoln City

Prefer to forget the wedding. After waiting for an hour so she could be fashionable late I should have had a clue. The divorce was far more pleasant. Went into court and she was a no show. Maybe she was trying to be fashionably late again only this time it backfired. Priests are patient, judges are not. Answered a few questions and went out to Fisherman's Wharf to celebrate.

First time married my high school sweetheart in Reno Nevada, of course we were to young for that to last more than 5 yrs. Second a beatiful seaside church in Laguna Beach Calif. a lovely, lovely wedding. A beautiful day, we left that night for Hawaii, Maui and a fantastic reception on the beach christmas day the weather was gorgeous.
Oh my gosh Min I think I was at your first marriage. I think you married my cousin. Was your wedding cake oblong with a cowboy on a black horse who had lassoed his bride. Did Your husbands ex come with her husband ,but forgot who she was married to and latched onto your husband and he had to remind her she sitting in the wrong lap? Did the lead guitarist fall off the make shift outdoor stage. Oh boy did we have fun, I think. Danced until the sun came up, I think.
Well it sure looked like it might have been the same wedding. Thanks for setting it straight, I'd still be wondering.

Eloped the first time because my father was driving us nuts over wedding plans. The mayor in the town I grew up in married us.
Second time in a civil ceremony with about 50 friends and family in attendance.
Third time in a lawyer's office with my girlfriend, 4 of hubby's friends, his two grown sons and his ex wife in attendance.
There will never be a fourth time if this hubby doesn't get the husband thing right. LOL!

First marriage: Las Vegas with parents and their best friends. Our car had radiator problems and new husband and I spent most of the wedding night in a garage waiting for the car to be repaired. We got off easy on the price...only paid 3 times more for repairs than we would have in California.
Second marriage: Carson City, Nevada. This ended in divorce several years later. Reminder to self.....stay out of Nevada!
