im 13 weeks too and im having the same problem. i bought some benefiber and added it to some apple juice and about 5 hours later i felt muuuuuch better. also i heard coffee (decaf of course) helps a lot but i haven't tried it. also if you can stand the taste (i can't) some good ol fashioned prune juice should help. good luck and congrats!

Had the same problem and still occasionally do. What works for me is salads and fruits! Get stuff moving in no time! Watermelon and grapes! I drink water all day and nothing else, so that helps. Ask for a prenatal with a stool softener in it, such as precare. And make sure to get Bran in your diet. Like try wheat bread and brown rice. Really does help without having to take meds of any kind. Good Luck!

If it looks like rabbit droppings, then you're dehydrated. Try to drink more water and maybe even some gatorade/powerade.

Take a stool softner. You can get one from any drugstore--it'll cost around $6 (at least here it does). Take 2 a day and you'll find that you are MUCH happier in that department.

Also try to eat more fiber in your diet, but sometimes that's hard to do when all you crave are fatty foods.

talk to the doc and see if you can take a stool softener. If not, increase fiber, and maybe decrease iron. I know that when I have iron supplements I get constipated really bad.
Good Luck!

Try switching the brand of prenatal vitamins you are taking....I've heard this can help some people. Also, load up on the bran, and drink plenty of water.

its likely due to increased iron intake. Talk to your dr, if you have been on an iron suppliment or an iron enriched prenatal, you may want to switch. Try to drink more water and eat more fiber.

Eat a handful of prunes. That'll do the trick!

My daughter has had the same problem. They told her to take Senokot. She also drinks apple juice, and this seems to help. Good Luck!

lots of good advice given already.

I just want to add, don't strain too much or else you'll get monster hemorrhoids.
