It's possible, but with ultra sounds these days dates are pretty accurate. The baby and yor body decided it was time now. Anytime after 37 weeks is considered full term.

Full-term is considered 38-42 weeks. Not every woman ovulates at the same time in their cycle, therefore the conception date is a guestimate (official medical term ;) ) and often cannot be absolutely determined. Yes, ultrasounds are quite accurate when done early in pregnancy. When done during the second and especially during the third trimester ultrasounds dates can be off by a couple of weeks. Even when ultrasounds are done during the pregnancy, your provider should not change your due date unless the date from the ultrasounds is more than 2 weeks off the original due date given.

Well typically a normal pregnancy is between 38 to 40 weeks. Its hard to determine the conception day unless you are just marking on the calendar everytime. People generally give 40 weeks from the first day of the last menstral cycle. It just depends. Once you hit 37 weeks you are considered Full term.

Normal full-term babies can arrive anywhere from 36 to 42 weeks. Your due date was an estimate and unless you were keeping track closely, your date of conception was also an estimate. In the end, a couple of days (or weeks) here and there doesn't make a difference.

No, the baby comes out whenever its ready to. Some babies just come early. I had a friend whos baby came out at only 30 weeks. She came early because of health reasons.

It is possible, but it is also possible that the baby was smaller than the average baby, and they screwed up on the ultra sound. And if it is your first child you body could have just went into labor early, that's very common with the first baby....

it may be off by a few days, but babies can come anywhere from 36-42 weeks. It just depends on your body and the baby.

Know it just means that your baby wanted to come early but it could be that you have been on your feet too much.
