Yes! It got on my nerves. They were totally close minded and they were never open for ANYTHING even remotely new. After awhile, we stopped hanging out. It was like going out with a paranoid pessimistic weirdo.

Ugh, yeah. They are called realists! My ex boyfriend was like that all the time, couldn't stand it when every situation wasn't possible to him or my ideas were not practical or plausible. How boring.

Well, I am turning into that person. I am a cynic. I have experienced so much crap so often that it is hard to stay optimistic. I do want to change though.

yeah this chick at my old job. she complained about insurance, the christmas party, the company picnic, the a/c, her boss. you name it she didn't like it. yet she worked there for 15years.
