I saw the film with the Buddhist monks. Everyone can do that, provided they can put a nice face for two hours till the blankets are dry. Our bodies have enough heat to dry the blankets and after 5 or 6 minutes we do not feel so cold... as when we fall in freezing cool water. Just be careful not to get a cold!...

Yes, Tibetan monks can , they even competing with each other by placing a wet towel around their naked shoulders and meditate until the towel completely dry, the first one succeeds would win, and the price is the honer of winning.

You can actually see steams raising from the towels.
This is fact based on Discovery Channel. It was film in a very cold winter day in Tibet.

The brain is one of the most powerful organs we possess. I believe you can be warm...positive thinking and a little imagination if you will.

There have been medical phenomena of women believing that they were pregnant although they tested negative to a preg. test and actually have something growing inside them...not necessarily a child but a mass that contained teeth and hair.

You might be able to redirect some blood flow to your hands or feet to help keep them warmer than otherwise, but you're not going to save yourself from frostbite this way. There's only so much you might be able to do before your body takes over and shunts blood to the head and core to save the major organs. No amount of positive thinking, mental imagery, or meditation will overcome that.

Kinda, I've done that with pain. I kinda have learned to brace it. It would be great if I could master the same to make myself happier inside again. Without alcohol.

You can stop yourself from shivering by relaxing and letting your shoulders drop, so yeah, you can for a while, I think you would probably lose the battle and freeze in the end though.
