We think of ourselves as a 'green' country but we're really not.

There are some great things about being Canadian to be sure but being enviornmentally aware and doing our share to protect the planet is not one of them.

You're not the only country behind in protecting the environment. Thousands of species have disappeared in the last 10 years from every country.
We are all waking up at the same time. Pushing elected officials who do not fear industry giants is a realistic goal for an individual.

Well , we might be a bit behind other countries when it comes to save the environment, but we have begun to do our share now!

It might take some time to clean up but I do believe that we are on the right track!

You want to save the environment?
Let's begin by asking our self these questions:
How many TV do I need in the house?
How many computers do I need?
Do I need a cell phone?
Do we need disposable diapers?
Do we need disposable anything?
Where do we dump our batteries ?
Why do we need energy savings light bulbs ,knowing that they contain mercury that will penetrate the soil and polluted it ?

I could go on and on, if each and everyone of us would look after things ,Canada will be #1 on the list in no time !
Honestly I have nothing to be embarrassed because I am doing my share on keeping the country green!

So If they must spent more money to save the environment let them! Our children and the future generations will benefit from our efforts.
