She has a court date this week, she is 15. Did the same thing last year and is now repeating the year. If she gets taken by dss , where will she go and for how long. Thanks

Depends on the state (or country), the girl, and the judge. They're obviously going to go harder on a repeat offender, but that's all I can tell you.

She is going to jail. Since she is a repeat offender she is most likely not getting any pity, and as for time ? It depends on the area, the county, the law, and how sick the judge is of seeing her face. But the Judge might take pity on her and give her community service hours

Your daughter is likely to go to jail for truancy, and she will spend some time there because of her history of being absent from school. She will most likely be referred for counseling and therapy which hopefully will help here figure out why it's so important to her to behave this way in the first place. They might put her in the detention home for kids. You may have to pay a truancy ticket and fine and she'll definitely get probation for 6-12 months, at least.

i had a friend that was on probation and skipped school and he went to juvie for 28 days i think.

um, i think that she shouldn't skip school cuz it'll get her PO pissed off, and if they take her to juvi or whatever then i don't know how long, but it really depends what shes on probation for....
she shouldn't mess up.

My friend is one probation and if he ditches he goes to Juvie for five days.
