Talk to them, don't ignore them. Let them know what is happening and let them know you WILL make the payment and not be late next month. It will probably effect your credit, but if they think you are ignoring them they are more likely to just come take your car.

Your other options are pay advance loans, which I do not recommend.

The guy is right when he said the you can talk and asked them to put it to the back, I did that before. I can't remember if I had to just pay the late fees. However they cant repo unless you owe two payments. You still should call them to talk and work something out. They only get pissed when you ignore them. If they wont work with you just hide your car till the 10th and ask them for their money gram code.

Megan,
get in ur car while it is still urs. go to Pizza delivery and start working every chance u get. u'll have the money for next payment and keep doing the same till ur caught up . then do some more till u are paid ahead if not off. get a budget and use it.
lose the car and u'll pay for yrs.
visit daveramsey.com to learn what u haven't been taught - how to own ur cash.
yes talk with them explain whats happening . find a new place to park till u get caught up.

that doesnt sound like u are only 20 days late if they are harassing u
call them up and ask to have the payment that is due stuck at the end of the payment (payoff time)
that should solve it
DONT DODGE them it will only make them difficult to deal with
they dont want your car they want your MONEY!

forget about Larry's silly answer--contact the lender immediately and explain your situation. Let them suggest ways to pay on time in the future. You will probably have to pay a late fee.

Call them back and tell them that. Generally a reposession will not happen until you hit 90 days past due. Don't ignore them though - they will work with you.
