Hydrogen peroxide gets rid of cold sores really well.
There are also treatments involving hydrogen peroxide and dmso or ozone to get rid of herpes, but those are a lot more complicated.
Finally, outbreaks normally only occur in people who have weakened immune systems, so focusing on things that keep your body (and thus immune system) healthy such as sleeping well or not eating sugar can go a long way towards alleviating the problems of herpes.
Hope that helps!

Herpes simplex virus is what produces cold sores (aka fever blisters). We could be infected with them just by drinking from someone else's cup, used utensils, shared lip balm, or lip contact with anybody who is carrying HSV-1. The swollen red bumps are somewhat uncomfortable blisters which can show up in the vicinity of the mouth area, or possibly the inside of the mouth or nostril, somewhere else on your face, or elsewhere on the body's skin.
They can surface because of elevated stress and anxiety, colds, fever, cold temperature, particular foods, and also excessive sunlight. The region can start to tingle, after which a sore will show up. The sore can dry and establish a yellow-colored crust. Cold sores can stay from 7 to two weeks. You might try to mask cold sores with cosmetics, but this usually would make it worse.
To remove them, an individual can try using a cold sore special product, employ lip balm with sun screen, use aloe vera, take echinacea, vitamins C and vitamin E, as well as completely avoiding pressing the cold sore. By just adopting a few lifestyle changes, it is doable to reduce cold sores as well as avoid them from reappearing.

abreva does work, but not instantaneously, nothing does. Just keep using the abreva, and grow up, people get cold sores all the time. If you friends tease you, tell em to grow up too.
