there is a little pull tab athte top of the seat, like right behind where your shoulders would be... look for it, looks like a loop, its on the smaller side ( meaning, the seats fold down in a 60:40 ratio, one side is longer than the other.. its on the short side)

I am wondering if it is anything like my old corsica, if so then there should be a strap of some kind along in the very top of the seat where it meets the rear window ledge..mine just pulled down with that. it was not easy at first since it had never been done before but it did eventually go. I bought it used but the previous owner had it for 6 years and never knew that was there *LOL*

if you bought it from a dealership then try calling them and asking for one, or even drive it back there and have them show you :o)

Sorry can't be of help with the manual but I believe there should be four latches inside the trunk which hold the seat in.
